Lately, Lana has been looking at me strangely and tells me to take more breaks. Is she beginning to suspect something? My job has not felt as satisfying as it did before.. I have an uncomfortable feeling.

She has also been giving me more of this “chocolate” food. I asked what it was made out of, and she told me that it was made out of “cocoa beans” which are from a tree called a “cacao tree”. The seeds are cleaned and roasted, and the shell is removed to harvest the pure chocolate inside. It can be melted into a drink or in solid form, like the chocolate she has been giving me.

It reminded me of our delicacy back home, Fenra Beans. It is slightly similar to chocolate in taste once the material inside is extracted and turned into a drink. Although, ours seems to taste spicier...

It made me think of home, and Lana said that I had a “sour face.” I wish I could tell her all about TOURAI as well. I wonder if she’d like Fenra.

I feel like I shouldn’t exist here. I am fascinated by humans, but I am scared of what Lana, and San, and that creature will think of me if they ever find out that I am an outsider.

Will they scream? Will they exile me, like in the fairytales I have read in the library?

I thanked Lana for giving me the chocolate. She was happy that she “cheered me up.”
